The sun shone brightly, illuminating the view of lavender bushes growing elegantly row upon row. Stacey and photo assistant, Renee Saunders, were fortunate to visit Lavender Oaks Farm to shoot a story for Our State magazine.
“I remember it being so hot - but such a lovely story to shoot because lavender is so beautiful!” Stacey said.
The owners, Robert and Karen Macdonald, have created a dream location for bride’s and other event seekers through their own lifelong dream to own a farm. When Karen visited the lavender fields in Provence, she fell in love with the vast landscape of regal purple highlighted by the entrancing aroma of relaxation and peace.
From 4,000 lavender plants in nine different varieties to their historic timber frame barns, Lavender Oaks Farms has an enchanting atmosphere all of its own awaiting to be experienced by more people.
So, turn on your essential oil diffuser - if you haven’t already - and put a few drops of your lavender essential oil in it and keep scrolling to see the farm’s magnificence and smell the lavender’s relaxing fragrance.
