We are so excited to share this project that we had the honor of working on with the fabulous MA Allen! You can find her beautiful room featured in the Most Amazing Kids Spaces in the June issue of House Beautiful.
MA’s bold use of color and pattern come together to create a little girls dream room, giving a sense of empowerment to dream freely and to grow.
Allen’s daughter, Lil, was our model, and she stole the show, don’t you think?
“Seriously, the sweetest little girl,” Van Berkel said. “She was the highlight of the shoot.”
This kid-friendly room features a small lime green door that opens to a quaint play closet with toys and books and a bathroom with a built-in pull-out stool. Allen also incorporates book covers as art to spark young creativity.
