One of my favorite editorial assignments of all time! Early on Thanksgiving morning, I ran through the fields in the mist to photograph the Blessing of the Hounds in Southern Pines for Our State magazine. Beautiful horses, riders dressed to the nines, the excitement of the hunt and a foggy morning – it was idyllic in every way!
